Cross-Mentoring Dresden supports executives in their professional and personal development. The mentoring partnership between a less experienced manager and a more experienced manager from their own company or another company, who makes themselves available as an external mentor, enables an open and non-hierarchical exchange of experiences across company boundaries.
The program started in autumn 2021 for the first time.
Cross Consult designed the program and is responsible for the entire program management. We look after the participants throughout the year and offer suitable supporting events. The AOK PLUS - the health insurance fund for Saxony and Thuringia, the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, the Ostsächsiche Sparkasse Dresden, the Sächsische Aufbaubank - Förderbank - (SAB) and the Sparkassen-Versicherung Sachsen Lebensversicherung AG took part in the first round.
The executives (mentees) are supported and promoted for one year by experienced executives (mentors) from other companies participating in the program. The tandems act independently and set their goals and measures, such as coaching, advice and networking, individually. Lectures, fireside chats, feedback events and workshops form the framework.
The special feature in Dresden: the advantages of internal mentoring and cross-mentoring complement each other. Companies also have the opportunity to participate with internal tandems and so get the opportunity to exchange ideas with mentees and mentors from other companies through the side events
